Fraunhofer CML – Partner in the MUNIN project
The Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services CML (Fraunhofer CML) conducts professional contract research for private and public sector clients in the maritime industry, including ports, terminal operators, shipping companies and logistics service providers. To this end, Fraunhofer CML develops and implements innovative, customer focused problem solutions for the maritime supply chain. This comprises the optimization of logistics and business processes, the support of complex planning processes with innovative planning tools and models and the preparation of maritime forecasts, expert assessments and studies. For its work the Fraunhofer CML takes full advantage of the latest scientific insights and methods, utilises comprehensive data banks and innovative modeling approaches and draws on sector specific experience and a wide-ranging technological expertise. Fraunhofer CML is situated at the Hamburg University of Technology in Hamburg, Germany.
